Examples of reincarnation. We have always wondered what’s on the other side, what happens to us when we die. Some people are totally convinced that they had previous lives, they even have memories of their previous lives, and the stories they tell us are true examples of reincarnation. Let’s take a look into the testimonies of people who apparently came back from the dead.
Examples of Reincarnation
An Australian couple who believed to be Jesus Christ and Mary Magdalene
“My name is Jesus and I’m serious. Just a little over 2000 years ago, I came to Earth for the first time,” says Alan John Miller, a former IT specialist in Australia, who claims to be the reincarnation of Jesus Christ, while his partner says she is the repentant prostitute Mary Magdalene.
“I have very clear memories of the crucifixion, but it was so distressing to me as it was for others, like Mary, who was present” says Miller, a divorced father of two, who said his first marriage fell apart when he began remembering the details of the alleged incarnation. He also says he remembers performing miracles.
The two together started a religious movement called “Divine Truth” and claim to have about 150 followers.
A child who remembers being a pilot in World War II
Six decades ago, a 21-year-old Navy fighter pilot on a mission was shot down by Japanese artillery over the Pacific. His name might have been forgotten if it were not for a boy named James Leininger.
At first, the child’s parents were puzzled, then disturbed when their two-year-old started screaming chilling phrases like “Plane on fire! I can’t get out!” while sleeping, apparently having nightmares.
James also said his plane had suffered a direct hit on the engine. Ralph Clarbour, a gunner on a US plane that flew off the Natoma Bay, says his plane was right next to the one flown by James M. Huston Jr. during a raid near Iwo Jima on March 3, 1945. Clarbour said he saw Huston’s plane reached by flak. “I would say he was hit in the head, right through the middle of the engine,” he said.
In 2010, the child, now an adult, published a best-selling book called “Soul Survivor”.
A Swedish poet who claimed to be the reincarnation of Anne Frank
From an early age, Swedish poet Barbro Karlen had recurring nightmares about Holocaust. It took many years until she was convinced and publicly stated that she was Anne Frank, during a television interview, broadcasted from Amsterdam in 1995.
This news left many Dutch in shock and surprised the rest of the world as well. Later she published a book called “And the wolves howled.”
A salesman claiming to be the reincarnation of Marilyn Monroe
A 26-year-old salesman is completely convinced that he once lived as the actress Marilyn Monroe.
“When I awoke from my session and the therapist told me I had said it was Marilyn, I thought: No, that’s not possible – what are the odds of that happening?” adding: “Every time I return, I learn a little more. I like to think I’m a sane and rational person. Everything is true. Why would I make up a story like this?”
He says that in just five sessions of regression therapy he has learned all the details of the life of Monroe. Let’s see more examples of reincarnation like this one.
A Russian traffic officer who believes he is the reincarnation of Jesus Christ
Can Jesus reincarnate on more than one person at a time? For what it’s worth, Anatolyevitch Sergey Torop, was the first. He worked as a patrol officer before losing his job in 1989, after which he said he was “reborn” and that he was Jesus Christ.
His religion combines elements of the Russian Orthodox Church with Buddhism, apocalypticism, collectivism, and ecological values. His followers have strict regulations, they are vegetarian, avoid all vices like smoking or drinking alcohol, and the use of money is prohibited. The group’s goal is to unite all religions on Earth and it already has more than 5,000 followers worldwide.
Phil Collins, the famous rock star believes to be the reincarnation of a survivor of The Alamo
According to the Daily Mail, rock star Phil Collins, believed to be the reincarnation of an Alamo survivor. The battle in 1836 saw 1,500 Mexican troops lay siege to 200 Texans – including Davy Crockett and Jim Bowie – in the Mission of the Alamo, San Antonio. All but a handful of Texans were killed.
A clairvoyant whom he met while traveling in Texas four years ago, convinced the singer of it so he began to study the history of the Alamo, and collecting artifacts of the battle, until it became a passion for him. Collins remains defensive about his own example of reincarnation, however, he told Rolling Stone that he was not a “freak” to believe this was possible.
Salvador Dali believed to be the reincarnation of his dead brother
The elder brother of the famous artist Salvador Dalí, also called Salvador, died of gastroenteritis nine months after birth.
When he was five, Dalí was taken to his brother’s grave and told by his parents that he was the reincarnation of his brother, a concept that he came to believe. About his brother, Dalí said: “…We were like two drops of water, but we had different reflections.” He “was probably a first version of myself but conceived too much in the absolute.” Pictures of his long dead brother reappeared incorporated into his later works, including “Portrait of My Dead Brother” (1963).
